ST. WILLIAM YOUTH GROUP
Youth Ministry is the means by which the Church helps teens become integral members of the parish, as well as the larger Church community. All young people are welcome and have a sense of belonging and acceptance. The Ministry keeps youth connected to other teens in the parish, the Vicariate, the Archdiocese and the local community.
Programs include:
- Hot Topics Discussion Group (high school)
- "Breaking Open the Word" - a family based Sunday morning bible study
- Youth Group
Goals of the program:
- build a sense of community among middle school and high school aged members of St. William Parish.
- Youth group is faith community where youth can gather to have fun, learn more about themselves and others and grow in faith.
- Engage the youth in age-appropriate events that are selected by youth, including at least one service project each month.

The success of the program relies on parental involvement. Each events needs one adult chaperone per eight students. To ensure the safety of the students, all chaperones must have completed the Protecting God's Children Program and have had a criminal background check.
